"I liked how there wasn't just a romance storyline but a bit of intrigue. I had a hard time understanding how someone can say they love someone with all their heart but they want to share them with others. I also didn't like that Julia said Brad is so amazing in bed so its not fair not to share him and let other women experience his talent in bed. (Not her exact words). That was cheesy and hard to believe someone would feel that way.
However, I love this author and love her writing talent. I just wished they would have realized they only wanted each other in the bedroom. I am trying to be open minded I do know "different strokes for different folks". It's their love story. I guess I just somewhat put myself in the main girls shoes and feel her feelings but in this case I just didn't really feel that way.
The mofia storyline was good and she writes so well that even if I don't like some of the story she makes these characters believable, she writes with a perfect amount of dialogue and description."

- I really wanted to give this 4 stars but I just couldn't overlook the elephant in the room!
I am so freaking mad right now… I have never been this angry about how stupidly the Heroine of a book has been portrayed. I was thoroughly enjoying this Trilogy up to the end of Chapter 54 in the 3rd book “End of the Innocenceâ€. All it took was one chapter to ruin this entire trilogy for me.
My first introduction to Alessandra Torre and Brad De Luca was “Hollywood Dirt†(Great Read by the way). The character of Brad De Luca just popped out of the pages of that book and I just knew there had to be a backstory there and man was there a story.
As I said, I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books, couldn’t put them down (it was like being on literary crack). There were some disjointed moments and characters that really could have been left out. All of the passages with Alexis could have been deleted. The one with the Russian girl was just strange and creepy. (Salacious interludes that really didn’t enhance the story at all).
There were a few moments when I had to question why I continued to read this trilogy, but the good far outweighed the bad so I continued on. My first, “I can’t read this crap anymore moment came in book 2 “Masked Innocence†when Julia sang to the police about what she overhead in her Boss’s office. I forgave Julia for her stupidity after she volunteered to the Police about the Mob’s involvement with her Boss. NO ONE VOLUNTEERS INFORMATION ON MOB ACTIVITIES TO THE POLICE, NO ONE. She keeps calling and calling the Police until the wrong people finds out she knows too much. HUH? JHC Julia, you are a Pre-law student, NO FUTURE LAWYER IS THIS DUMB!!! (I knew where this was going, but I continued down the well).
On to the infamous Chapter 54. I wish the Trilogy had ended at Chapter 53. I had to put the kindle down after reading chapter 54, because I was literally screaming at the and pacing the floor talking to myself and screaming “NO ONE CAN BE THIS STUPID, NO ONEâ€!!
After stepping away from the kindle for an hour or two, I had to remind myself that this was just a book, but why does she have to be this STUPID?! OMG your life has been threatened and you are staying by yourself in a broken down house that someone tried to assault you in? Then she goes outside after hearing her car alarm going off and…and…..I can’t even write it because it’s too freaking stupid to repeat. And then those dumb friends of hers not letting Brad know until the very last minute that she was missing? I just can’t with this level of absurdity. It’s like Chapter 54 and all the chapters thereafter, negated all of the goodness that came before. I had planned to give this book a Strong 4 star, but now I have to give it a 3. Overall, I would recommend the trilogy. The story was really good up to chapter 54 (and that’s a lot of reading), but then it went off the rails and just never recovered for me (I FELT BETRAYED BY THE AUTHOR – WE DESERVED A BETTER ENDING THAN WHAT WE GOT, ESPECIALLY AFTER STAYING WITH THE STORY FOR THAT LONG). There were so many things that needed to be resolved, 1) the kidnapping There was no resolution, no confrontation, NO APOLOGY. 2) Olivia's betrayal.
Positives 1) Brad De Luca The Man Whore turned into one of the best book boyfriends ever; 2) As a whole, the story is good and extremely addictive and the sex scenes are SMOKIN HOT! ; 3) The scenes in the office kitchen when they found out her secret were just too delicious for words.
Negatives 1. Unresolved storylines, a dumb Heroine and her equally dumb friends. Some of their actions are just too ridiculous to be believed and it takes away from what could have really been a fantastic 4 star read. - End of the Innocence is the third and final installment in Alessandra Torre's erotic/romance trilogy titled Innocence. I thought the addition of thriller/mystery elements was a surprise in the second book, but I obviously had know idea what Ms. Torre had up her sleeve! Ms. Torre had me glued to every page of this book and I loved it! This has been a great trilogy that I started out loving but honestly didn't have high hopes for the long run. I was wrong. I don't re-read many books, much less entire trilogies/series but all of these books were put right back on my list for a re-read. Alessandra Torre is a goddess. Have I said that yet? Check her out!!
My favorite quote
"The horrific thing about having everything you wanted is the constant fear that it would all disappear."
Alessandra Torre's Innocence trilogy includes the following installments as of December 2016
#1-Blindfolded Innocence
#1.5-The Diary of Brad De Luca
#2-Masked Innocence
#3-End of the Innocence - I liked how there wasn't just a romance storyline but a bit of intrigue.
